Rafferty Heads Florida Justice Association

(Palm Beach, FL) June 13, 2014 - After serving a busy year as President-Elect, Pensacola attorney Troy Rafferty was installed as President of Florida Justice Association. The association, which has it main office in the state's capital, and was formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, is dedicated to protecting the right of citizens to have access to the courts. In a special ceremony conducted at The Breakers hotel, a number of legal luminaries were recognized and much praise was lauded upon Rafferty as a stalwart of the organization and exceptional trial lawyer. He was sworn in by his law partner Fred Levin, also known as a champion of the FJA and highly regarded trial attorney. The ceremony was punctuated by moments of both humor and warm feelings among those who have long supported the association's battles for the people of Florida, including outgoing President PAUL M. Anderson of Tallahassee and Executive Director Debra Henley.
